How do I REALLY change the 'My Documents' Icon ?

Tuesday, August 17, 2004 by DanielMD | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I want to change the icon for the 'My Documents' folder. I've already changed it via Display Properties -> Customize Desktop however this seems to only change the icon if it is placed on my desktop. The icon is still the default folder icon when I goto My Computer or browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel".

So how can I REALLY change the Icon? I'm also having the same problem with 'My Videos' folder (located in My Documents).

IconPackager can change those for you.

It didn't work for me. I've been using an IconPackager theme (Foood's ICandy Junior) but it still doesn't replace my 'my documents' folder icon. Anyone have this problem before?
