Incompatibility between SP2 and bootskin ?

regard to this list : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884130&product=windowsxpsp2, Bootskin may not work under XP SP2, even if Bootskin does not patch ntlogon.exe
So, is a new version planned or are somes tips available to resolve this issue ?

Bootskin is listed in the "Known as icompatible with SP2" Microsoft's list.

What is says on that page is..... "The following table lists programs that may behave differently after you install Windows XP SP2:"
Where does it say... "Known as incompatibale with SP2" ?
I've been running SP2 RC2 for quite a least a month, and haven't had any problem with BootSkin. Frogboy posted a news item about SP2 and BootSkin

Just a head's up that our testing of BootSkin and Windows XP SP2 shows that there is an odd problem. After installing SP2, the first reboot afterwards may cause a blue screen (or other bad behavior). The second reboot seems to clear it up. We are looking into what is causing this. It's harmless but if you're not prepared for it it is kind of scary. We are looking into solutions but obviously many people won't necessarily have that download then.

The only incompatibility, that i have encounter, is that it show for one second, the original screen bootskin of service pack 2, and after, it show the "startup bootskin of the Stardock BootSkin program".
But to (patch) that (fix) = simply add /NOGUIBOOT, the boot.ini file.

I then rebooted to make sure The boot screen and logon screen had gone back to the defaults(go to the application Logon Studio to change that if it hasn't gone to default).
Then I downloaded and installed SP2. The first reboot takes a long time.....don't get impatient. The screen will look like the first time XP did when you first installed it. Mine stayed like that for approximately 5mins. Then it moved to the logon screen and everything was fine. When you log on, it takes you through the new security thing....to set up firewall, notifications etc. After that....
I would reboot one more time to make sure everything is in order. It should boot normally. Then try turning on your applications.
I have not had a problem with them working. Bootskins works great, Logon Studio works great and windowblinds is also without problems.
Hopefully, this will help others install SP2 without problems.

which means it's the same thing as with SP1...
