WindowBlinds 4.38c[b].003 - some odd behavior - crashing apps

Didn't know if anyone else was getting this problem.
If I am running this version (4.38c[b].003) of WB, all of a sudden I am getting App Crashes (Outlook, Word). If I unload WB, then I do not get the app crashes.
both seem to crash on startup -
System Specs -
Dell Latitude - D600
ATI Radeon 9000 (Mobile) Driver Vesion 6.14.10.6371
Nutshell.

4.38d is now up which should have Outlook 2k3 all happy happy again.

Naw, we complained about it on Saturday & Sunday in the newsgroup.

Oh thanks, I couldn't figure out why Outlook started doing that. Getting the new version now.

I'm getting problems as well. Just installed WB update and now when I boot I get an error saying "firedameon has encountered an error and need to close". I unloaded WB and everything is fine. Tried to reinstall and same problem. If anyone has a fix I'd appreciate it if you would pass it on.

The three 4.38 succesives beta versions have similar troubles for me also (with Mailwasher which won't load and gives then an IE error to be send to Microsoft) and also troubles with ObjectDock Plus (gives a right autohide dock with items upside down 
)

Don't know, if you have ODNT, maybe you got it when it was out(May, 18th 2004) ? if so just restore it ...
Otherway, maybe you can ask Stardock for a copy of it ?

I add, that if you have effectivly ODNT, just uncheck the option to show beta version and WB 4.30.026 will appear

Here's the problem I am having with Windowblinds 4.38b[d], no real resolution from the Newsgroups and no response from support, other than the automated response. I have tested this against a Virtual PC, using 4.30.026 and it works fine. That is my benchmarker and comparison tool. You can get a free trial of Virtual PC 2004 from Microsoft, and once you create a Virtual PC, copy the file to another location, then just use copies of the original to make changes, and whenyou are done tinkering just delete the Virtual PC.
Any ways, I have tested the issue and I do not have corrupted font's missing font's so there must be some other resolution.
The description is as follows.
Problem Description
-Upon upgrading from Windowblind 4.38c[b].003 to
4.38b[d] I have a text issue on Windowblinds spawned dialogue
Boxes. An example of mentioned boxes is as follows, the gamma control
Box spawned by a skin ( in the Appearances Tab of the Display
Properties Dialogue.)
Also when (using a different skin that supports "COLORING") the
spawned dialogue
box displays the same problem. Additionally when downloading a skin
from
http://www.wincusomize.org, and the progress of completion is reported
via
Dialogue message box, from the Windowblinds tray Item. Now as you can
see this problem is manifested in two different skins.
One is the Blackcomb (as mentioned in previous problems to be tested
being, UIS1 and 2), and also Berry Skin. As these Skins do not you a
Custom Font, the Font Choice is not an Issue. Also I have tried all
settings via the Windowblinds, advanced configuration Menu's. Nothing
seems to resolve this issue.
