please correct me if i did something wrong.
i made a folder of my username under object dock.
now i wasn't sure bout which .ini files to copy and so i copied all the files (not within any other subfolder) and placed it on my username folder under object dock.
then i opened notepad, copied and pasted your example batch file, subbing my username on the USERNAME field without the %icon, then saved it with a .bat file extension name.
made a shortcut as you said and ncopied it to mystartup folder under programs/accessories.
what comes up is a small dialogue boc running from dos and stays there.
is this right?

2) Go into the OD directory and create a directory with your username.
3) Copy all the INI files in the OD directory into your username directory.
4) Do the same for your wife's account.
5) Write a batch file that runs at login that copies the contents of the username subdirectory into the main OD directory and then launches OD.
6) Put a shortcut to this batch file into the All Users startup group.
7) Remove any shortcuts to OD in the startup group.
Done.
Example Batch file:
REM Copy the user-specific files
copy/y "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\%USERNAME%\*.ini" "C:\Program Files\Startock\ObjectDock\*.ini"
REM Start ObjectDock
start "C:\Program Files\Startock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe"
Keep in mind, if you make any changes to your OD setup, you have to manually copy all of the INI files to your username directory again.
