What ever happened to ....? (long lost authors)

Hi peoples,
Just cruising through the older wb designs and came across one of the really great artists of yesteryear. Anyone know what became of author: Jay-z2k ? is he using another nick now? has he gotten out of skinning? has anyone kept in touch?
I'd love to see the skins he did updated to the latest wb build.
and he's just one of many who've dissapeared leaving really great skins that cannot be updated.
anyone else have a long lost author they'd like to see updating their work?

maybe... just maybe, this thread will cause some ripples in the waters of skinning and if they're out there somewhere, it'll get back to them that they're missed.

His Skythe skinz (if I remember correctly) was one of the very reason I got into Skinnable Apps) Who remembers EFX???

well, lets see, that makes it 5 missing skinners and the thread's only just in its infancy!
how many more are there out there with great work that is begging to be updated to the latest build?

Yeah, I really loved Shawn Murdock's skins. His Sigma series are still among my favorites.
And let's not for get D.A.K. His WBMania skins were fat, phat and funky.
And then there's Crumbut and Mercury among others.
And yeah, DaWebMassa, come back, we miss you!

Chad hasnt quit skinning, he's just changed 'area'. He's co-running some cargame related site and the game supports 'skins' of some sort.

i too miss DooDleBug. AKA the ridlah.....my mentor and hero...IMO Turtlesoup II is still the best L.S. theme to date ...

A few of us are big fans of his stuff, and for a while it looked like he was gearing up to get back into things, only to to vanish again.
