How to Load New Theme?

I'm completely new at this and don't know how to do anything. I just downloaded and installed DesktopX and downloaded a theme and clicked on the theme on my desktop. It loaded the sidebar with the clock and everything but my desktop icons hadn't changed and my start bar on the bottom was completely unchanged and it wasn't like it was in the screenshot of the theme. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the theme? Most likely, the bottom is probably a Windowblind theme, or maybe a ObjectDock theme. The icons are probably an Iconpackager theme. Mostly, the themes here are all part of Object Desktop programs. Windowblinds, DesktopX, Iconpackager.
