How to customize Root Menu? (Right-Click at desktop)

Thursday, July 15, 2004 by human | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I just upgraded my Object Desktop components and found that
the root menu is changed.
I don't know which component changed it.
Worsely, I don't know how to customize it!
Cay anybody give me a clue?

Thanks.

The culprit is probably DesktopX or ObjectBar. Do you have either of those programs installed and running?

I believe it's Desktop X 'cuz I did not install ObjectBar.
Besides, the bottom-most item in the root menu is DesktopX.
I want to use the original Windows root menu.
The new root menu that DesktopX provides has too many
redundant items.
In my opinion, the only two items that should stay in the menu are "Programs" and "Settings".
All the others should be accessed via StartMenu.

Go into DX config, and look under the "Security" tab. Is there anything checked? Such as the "disable right-click menus"?

(whoops almost forgot: Do you have a theme currently loaded? )

1. Nothing is checked under "Security" tab.
2. I currently use "Christmas Time" theme.

Thanks for your reply.
