Mouse over it and it will say 'Logoff'.....I just tried mine and it logged me right off....
Are you sure you're playing with the right 'button'?

OK, it's my computer that he's stuck on and I was wanting to get on to my account so I could leave a message on the gmail post, but when I went to log off, it just kept him logged in. I did the kill cookie link and even deleted the cookies myself. Still same problem.
Any ideas, please.

You can't do that. You now have to change the info in SDC Account info back to the original or one of you will be stuck in the Twilight Zone forever....
