Rollback...

Wednesday, June 23, 2004 by Arkanoid1988 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Recently I downloaded the XP longhorn skin, at first I thought it was good. Untill I realised that when I unistalled it and restarted the icons were the same! I want these icons to be changed back! Ive tried re-installing XP but I cant because it asks me for a product code, and the one I put in it says its invalid!

Please help! Does anyone no were to get the original icons, because these one are crap now! PLEASE! >

Open IconPackager, then Tool / Restore all icons.

If you don't have IconPackager anymore, reinstall it: https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/

Seems you have a bigger problem than icons.

My guess is that it's your spelling that makes it 'invalid'... Spell checker

product code

I believe there was a series of activation codes that MS invalidated with SP1 due to pirated software. Contacting MS by the phone number on the activation screen would be the way to get your version of XP back up and running

Even if you reinstall xp? It should only ask you for a new code when you install sp1. Sp2 intallation crashes when you have a bad code.

The activation code you enter is checked via internet connection or phone call within the first 30-days of installation
