Object Bar Freezes Windows

When I try to unload Object Bar (1.55), it tends to freeze my computer. This only has happened with the later Longhorn bars that have the clock and such.
I'm running a P4 2.26ghz with 1gb ram and an ati x800 pro.
Using other bars and then unloading them works just fine.
Any suggestions?

Unload. The bars work fine when loaded. But if I try to unload any of those Longhorn ones, or switch bars, it freezes my computer.

Sometimes DeskTopX and IconX don't play well with some of the OB skins...do you have DX installed and running? Frankly, it sounds more like a script problem in that OB skin.

I have DX installed, but I don't use it. I use Windows Blinds, and that's it.

Well, it certainly isn't WB, but something, for whatever reason isn't playing well with that particular skin (although I've looked at it and see nothing that should cause a problem). If all the other skins are working then I would stay away from that one. You could grab one of the developers in Chat (IRC. stardock.com - 6667) or the OB newsgroup at news.stardock.com.

are there any plug-ins being used by the skins in question? - from my own experience I have found that some of the ob plug-ins are a bit unstable

I was thinking the same thing tiggz, but I didn't see any in the skin (if I was looking at the right one) and I'm not sure if he would have added one in...but you're right...that could be a problem in either case.

Well the longhonrn ones have the clock plugin, and I think another one.
