Wish me luck...

Wednesday, June 2, 2004 by Watson | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Well everyone tomorrow I have to go to a neurologist to find out what is causing my severe migraines. I get them to the point that my head will literally shake(Very Visibly) and have already taken an mri and nothing was found except a stupid mucus sist which I am told could be found in almost everybody. So alas I leave tomorrow at 8 am and I have no idea what will happen next, but hopefully it will be good and not bad. Just had to get that off my chest.

DWatson, as a severe migraine patient (about 5-6 days a week) with even unconsciousness I know what you're going through. So I wish you all luck and strength

Good Luck DW. Both you and pinchecl just put into perspective the bouts of cluster headaches I've been getting for the last 14 years, ever since I had shingles in my mid-20's, thankfully they only last a day or so and they aren't as frequent anymore. Though the "tingle-spots" on my noggin are more noticeable.

Yeah, good luck on your visit.
Most migraines can be avoided by identifying and avoiding the 'triggers'. I almost never have them now after once having them every 2 or 3 weeks with some lasting as long as a week.

Yeah I found out today that I have over 32 triggers, therefore I'm not going to type them out, but I've been put on a medication that is supposed to completely prevent from happening altogether, so we'll jus have to see whether or not it works out...

Well no I don't think it's wife-itis, but now that you mention, I need to find me a girlfriend... and soon

I hope it works for you. There's almost nothing worse than a really bad migraine that just keeps going and going and ...
