is it possible to dock desktopx objects?

you can dock dx objects using dxscript - there is a specific script command for creating appbars, Object.AppbarMode=x, where x takes one of the following values:
0 = Disabled
1 = Docked
2 - Autohide

You can fine tune the location via, Object properties/ summary/ horizontal position or vertical position.
