Skinning Toolbar on hot mouseover

I'm having a problem skinning my toolbars. There doesn't seem to be an option for skinning the toolbar icons for the hot mouseover. Also when I save a toolbar of my own creation itdoesn't show up in the my toolbar section on my windowblinds. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks

Maybe you can help me a bit further. When I edited the ToolBar Icons and replaced the PNG's with the ones I wanted,thenran my mouse over them while still in Skin Studio the Mouseover effect showed the original icons.
Also, I saved them in the same way I would when I make any changes to the rest of the skin-click File and then save. But when I do this the toolbar doesn't show up in my ToolBar skins.
So I tried the same process in a skin already having a toolbar associated with it and the toolbar reverted back to Luna Default AHHHHHHH!

You need to create/import the ToolBar Icon file into the skin, otherwise the skin it's not going to recognize the new images.
You must also add the attribute to each toolbar section or else it will always show the default icons.
Also remember to save the new icons as .tga not .png

Hmm, I save all my toolbar icons as png and I let windowblinds convert them to tga. I think the important thing is to get the correct template size using the default template. Then, you can make the whole area transparent and replace the icons with your icons. The important part, then, is to make sure the icons are spaced properly. Then, I just save the whole thing as a PNG and windowblinds will do the conversion to tga. If you need to realign your icons, you can always open the untouched png file, fix it, and import it again.

I agree with Chas on the saving as png thing, except I think he means let SkinStudio do the conversion to tga.

Since the default images are .tga I was under the impression that the new images had to be saved as .tga. I wasnt aware or ever tried to save them as any other format. Which leads me to this question. Is there a difference on the format that is saved (tga/png)? and if so, which one is better?

Apocalypse.... png is just easier to deal with..... especially with graphics programs that don't handle tga file correctly. PSP 8, Photoshop CS, and others can't seem to save tga with alpha channels. SkinStudio has the option to convert png to tga on import if the png is transparent. It will also convert tga to png when you export a graphic to your image editor. You do your tweaking, save it, and SkS will convert it back to tga when you save the changes.
Open the program Preferences dialog, and under Image Editors check the "Convert TGA files to PNG before using image editors" box.

They apply the same to the 4 sections (Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, Miscellaneous and Go Button) They are all located on the left tree under ToolBar Icons.
In order to view these icons on a skin you must have WindowBlinds 4.2
