Problem connecting to Steam...

Anyone having a problem connecting to steam? I followed instructions on website to open ports 1200 UDP, 27000-27015 UDP, and 27030-27039 but still nothing. Any help?

I read the FAQ. It just says to open the above mentioned ports. I just figured there was a lot of general computer knowledge here at wincustomize. I have seen a lot of posts on gaming forums where people have the same problem but no one has the solution. I'm just trying all my options.

Reply #3 Sunday, May 16, 2004 10:24 PM Have you tried emailing their technical support. Probably has something to do with your firewall or proxxy and they should be able to walk you through it. It's a subscription site? You paid for access?
