How can I do this...?

Wednesday, May 12, 2004 by Maxness | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I made an icon for ObjectDock... and I want to link the shortcut to: Start> Control Panel> Printers and Other Hardware> Mouse...
Is that all possible?
I know I can link to the Control Panel. I was just wondering if I can go further into the Control Panel...

linking it to one of the .cpl files found in "windir"\system32 might work?

The .cpl files are shortcuts to the various functions in the Control Panel

DC.... hahaha I thought that was "common knowledge" - how the Control Panel works that is.... but hey, I guess not.....

Prolly some "leftover" stuff from poking around with shortcuts back in the good ol' Win98 days

(PS: I have never used ObjectDock)

I found a easier way... Make a shortcut on your desktop. then link to the desktop. *Go me!*
