Can not log into the forums through forums(dot)stardock(dot)com anymore.

For the last couple days I have not been able to log into the forums through the https://forums.stardock.com/ link, which has worked for me in the past. When I try, it all goes through a loop and just displaying a white page. This is when I am using FireFox version 157.0. If I using Opera GX then I can log in just fine at that web adress.
I can log into the forums through https://forums.wincustomize.com so I am a bit surprised as to the Stardock link is throwing a fizzy ?? I would prefer to be able to view all recent posts through the main Stardock forum link since it actually shows all recent post, which it don't when at the WinCustomize forum link.
Hopefully it is just a small glitch that can be solved and I (and others that might have this problem) can return to the main Stardock forum link.
Regards
SwedishTom

Hello,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. While I don’t normally use Firefox, I do keep it installed as a backup and tested it just now, I was able to log in to the forum without any problems.
I’d recommend clearing your browser cache and history, as that often resolves login issues. You could also try signing in using Private Mode, which helps determine if any extensions running in normal mode might be conflicting with the Stardock forum.
Thank you,
Basj,

Hi SwedishTom. Sorry to hear of your trouble, which sounds like a Firefox browser problem.
What happens with Chrome/Brave/Edge? Have you tried clearing your history+cookies and data from Firefox? I'd try that first. Also, did you install a new extension recently? If so, try removing it.
Duhh.. not sure why I did not think of clearing the cookies, normally do that when trying to sort things out. For some reason I just tried the OperaGX Browser and when it was working there and on FireFox just was looping around then I thought it was something else. Ahh well, lesson has been learned and got to remember doing the basics next time !
On a side note, Chrome/Brave/Edge is not even installed on this PC, just FireFox and OperaGX.

Lol. No biggy, SwedishTom. We all overlook obvious things. I'd like to suggest you try Brave browser. It's good with privacy. It's also free and has a rewards program (which I don't participate in).

Hi SwedishTom!
I use Firefox a lot, and there is and easy way to fix the log-in loop without clearing all your cookies. Open Firefox "Settings", select "Privacy and security" and scroll down and select "Clear data for specific sites"

A box will then open and you can in this case type "Stardock" in the search box, select stardock.com and eventually stardock.net. Then select "Remove Selected" and "Save Changes" and restart your Firefox browser.
