login screens HELP PLZ

ok i dunno what im doing wrong but i open the loginstudio and click load, i the skin i downloaded and apply and ok. when i logout i still have the old login screen. What am i doing wrong?

Maybe try checking the log on path to make sure it is loading the right file? Open log on studio , than options. Probably not the issue but give it a try.

You aren't the first person to complain abot this problem. My guess is that you have a conflict of your system somewhere. Maybe you are using a StyleXP logon program too. Or maybe you have used something else in the past and it corrupted your system files. Try this.

In Logon Studio, Under options, put a check in "Autoswitch user when Logon applied" This way if you load the logon correctly, you will see it immediately.

Also, I had trouble with the random feature with logon studio, mucking things up. Open msconfig and uncheck any references to logon studio. All you will lose is the ability to randomly switch logons, but it seems to fix a lot of problems with the program. The program automatically runs anyway and the redundancy was causing my system to crash on startup or logon studio to crash on startup. Maybe this will fix your problems too. Good luck.

Also noticed that some of the logons uploaded are a zip renamed logonxp with a logonxp file inside and you have to extract it to get it to work

Which Logon did you download? Can you switch the default Logons given in the program? Do you or did you ever use another Logon Program? If the answer is yes, which one did you use?

A little feedback would be helpful, instead of I tried what you told me and it did not work. What did you try? What did you do? How did you do it? What were the results? Did you change one of the default screens and press apply and the logon screen did not change? Please realize that this program works for thousands of people(Myself included), so the problem must be in your system or something that you are doing wrong.

I am using logonstudio and the skin i am using is cyrix(1024)

omg, i figured it out. the type of login screen i wus using wus the one where there wus no picture and the more secure way. I found that i had to switch to the "use the welcome screen". Sorry for the trouble i caused. but on the brightside i have a kool login screen! thanks NightTrain2002 ChasUGC Essencay for trying to help.
