I have been very productive over the past 3 days
I will be realising:
a windows blinds skin (nothing fancey just a black version of the luna)
A desktop X theme (now heres where it gets interesting!) I did 5 variations of the bliss wallpaper 1 at night 1 when its cloudy 1 during a lightning storm 1 partly cloudy est. I took a regular old weather object and edited the script so instead of having 47 states it has 6. I then replaced the six states on the actual weather icon object with a 1024 by 728 that would be the backround. That 1024 by 728 object contained the 6 bliss renders I made so when it rains outside it rains on your desktop!
I dont think anyone has done this kind of weather object before and I cant wait to see what the public thinks
(the black windows blinds is to match a wallaper I made)

The use of the Bliss wallpaper is a copyright issue. Im almost sure, but maybe an admin can shed some insight on that.

Why would they have an OS section if there is a copyright issue

Microsoft is so dam secretive
They don't even HAVE an e-mail address
I was trying to report somebody who sends the Mydoom virus a month ago and I spent hours looking through their site and all their contact section has is phone numbers and I could never call them because they'd know I am just a kid and probably wouldn't do a license agreement with a 12-year old
So what should I do?
I have already uploaded it and it is waiting approval
Personally I am more worried about it not getting in then I am about Microsoft hunting promotional fan stuff

Don't try to create a windowblind all at once. Take your time. Get a theme in you head, and do one piece. The start button or the start menu is a good place to start. Then, just back off if you have too. The most important thing is to keep it fun. That is how it gets completed.
When I start a start menu, it looks nothing at all like the finished one. I actually have five completed attempts before I see something that I like. Each one might take three or four hours then it gets trashed. And that is just one piece. The next piece might take four hours, then it gets trashed. In the end, it just takes a lot of patience.
I actually have a new idea for a windowblind theme. I've had it for two months. But, I haven't even got one piece that I am happy with. So, I just back off until I feel inspired with a new idea or approach to it.
So, don't let the failures deture you. The success in the end will overcome all the failures.
