A ride through Chernobyl

Thought some of you might find this interesting. This girl takes us through the areas surrounding chernobyl on her motorcyle...while monitoring radiation levels. It's kind of long so you might want to just save it to browse through later...lots of photos.

i thought that was wonderful, and i'm glad you pointed it out.. ended up spending my lunch break reading through it. i for one had no idea the actual extend of the dissaster.. knew the idea of what went down, didn't really know what happened to the lives of the people. thanks

Of course I know of the accident, but it was never something that was brought up in history class in school, which made this very interesting reading. Thanks for the link. It's hard to believe, 600 years to go...

I felt the same way when I came across that link, it was very sobering to see what has become of that area...and I wonder what will become of the girl that put that site together?
