ok something is wrong plz help.... 
i 1 of the windowblinds i downloaded and the taskbar that goes w/ it but a diff taskbar comes up not the 1 that goes w/...im doin this thru settings...this happened after i updaated

Also most, nearly all of the previews show of WB skins is on XP systems, you mileage may vary on a different version of Windows and it is usually the taskbar that is affected. Another thing could be that the author is using DesktopX, ObjectDock, ObjectBar, etc... in the preview. Post a comment at the author's skin if you are running XP and did what NightTrain said and are still having problems with the taskbar

I am running Windows XP and that is how i do it is thru xp overrides like Night says...and it isnt just 1 is almost all of them that used to work great now dont
