Able to get rid of the start taskbar?

Is there a way to get rid of it (instead of hiding it)?
Sorry if this has been posted before.

| On the Dock Contents tab in the configuration dialog, there's an option to "Hide the Windows taskbar" .... but, this will also hide the systray. |
That's what I did

is there a .dll or .ini file that can be edited to compeltely 'not load' the task bar? i know you can use a script to enable explorer to run the task bar seperately from the desktop and shell, so i figured there must be a way to not have it load at all while retaining full system functionality.
