sysmetrix bargraph

im new to the wonderful world of skinning..ive made a sysmetrix skin and when i try to use my bitmap image for bargraph i cant seem to figure out how to get the 2 images to work (background and progress)im not even sure if im asking the question the right way.........i think it has something to do with tiling........i need help please

Could you please be more specific about the problem? You say that the images are not working properly, but we need to know more than that to help you. Are the images not showing up at all? Are they not aligned properly? Are they not running in the right direction? Are they working for one feature, say cpu, and not another? Please be as descriptive as possible.
By the way, it has nothing to do with tiling. Sysmetrix always displays the full background image and only displays a fraction of the progress bar image based on the relative value(0-100%) of the data you have set it to monitor.

ok the image im trying to use for my cpu bargraph when it monitors the usage the bitmap will show up as 1 solid color not like the way it should be 1 solid color for the background color and another color for the progress bar.......does that sound right sorry for the confusion

Does the image you are using for the bargraph have both the background image and the progress bar image in the same bitmap? The background image needs to be a part of the main bitmap you are using for your Sysmetrix theme. The bitmap for the progress bar is the only other image needed.
In other words, you need to paint the bargraph background on top of your main Sysmetrix background and if you use layers, merge it with the background layer so it all becomes one bitmap. If your main background is called MyTheme.bmp, then the bargraph background will be a part of MyTheme.bmp, not a separate image. Then you have to create just one other image that shows the progress bar when it is full. After that it's just a matter of pointing Sysmetrix to that image for the feature you want to use in the configuration dialogue and adjusting the alignment.

ok i gotcha didnt know that i had to put the bargraph background image on the sysmetrix skin itself ..thnx for the help guys........u guys rock
