Kudos to the artists around here

Hi all-
Yesterday I was perusing the threads to find an answer to a question... which I found.
But, I came upon a thread that referred to the designs around here as " mess, garbage, crap and bad taste".
I am not one of the artists around here. I am just one who has fallen in love with the work around here and the myriad designs one can find here to suit every taste. Of all the friends who have seen my desktop not one has failed to comment on how terrific my desktop looks or failed to ask where they can get these programs. I feel that in itself speaks volumes as no one would rush home to acquire a *crappy* program to apply to their system! So, on a personal note... kudos to *all* the artists around here! I love your work!!
Since I'm not very familiar with some of the nomenclature around here I may have missed something, but I achieved the "flat, plain, smooth " look this person was looking for by going to display properties and changing to 'Windows Classic" and playing with the colors. I don't get it!! And I didn't like it, so I quickly re-applied my WB.
By the way, I opine that *bad taste* is telling another that they have *bad taste*!

You are not alone in this Lady Aarielle. I was one that came across this site referred by my girl who her self was referred by a friend. None the less I too was amazed by the diversity and the originality of the designs found here. I was also motivated by the talent of many great artists to get involved in creating my own designs.
It's good to once in a while extend our gratitude to the artist that shares their work.

You should understand that there are some malicious people that kinda get off with making nasty remarks on this message board (and other message boards), I can assure you they don't last long, the admins are very quick at stomping nasty trolls
