Foggy font in folders
(can I get more 'f's' in a title without getting in trouble?)

Cooee all
I have Windoze11 IoT Enterprise LTSC v10.0.26100 Build 26100 with
Object Desktop v4.04
I think the trouble is in windowsBlind11 (latest)
I don't know what I did as I have an old grey matter.
The font is fine outside of folders & I can change fonts, but the foggy fonts are still there.
It is playing havoc with my old eyes: different monitors makes no difference.
I have had this for a few weeks & it is driving me nuts.
Just like the pirate who walked into a bar with a steering wheel down his daks.
He walks up to the bar & orders a beer.
The barman leans over & says, 'do you know you have a steering wheel down your daks?'
The pirate goes, 'aye, and it's driving me nuts'.
Thanx for looking at the picture of my problem, I hope you have a solution, or a mixture?
have a good 1

Are you running the latest version of WindowBlinds? 11.06

Hey basj - no (it makes no difference if I change skins)
Hey pelaird - yes (I have the latest Object Desktop & I/it always runs updates all the times)

Than, its not Windowblinds causing your issue. Since those two themes I mentioned do not changed your Explorer fonts by default. And looking back on your screenshot there is something else added some other asset onto your Windows 11 explorer. That might causing issue with WB.

hey Basj
That is Open-Shell Menu 4.4.195
It is Classic Shell re-born
https://open-shell.github.io/Open-Shell-Menu/
I used to use Classic Shell back in the day (old habits die hard)
What you have highlighted down below has nothing to do with Open-Shell
It has to do with the file highlighted just above it 'EMS foot massager';
that has its config in the 3 dots to the right of 'view' >
down the bottom 'options' >
middle button called 'view'
& I thought it was 'always show status bar'
but I was wrong.
I can't show a picture because Ashampoo Winoptimizer 28 stuffed up things

From what I know, Openshell could cause conflict with Windowblinds.

In all the time I have used both, I have never had a problem
I had both programs install OK b4 the problem arose
But to pease you, I will un-install open-shell,
or disable its start-up if possible

Or you can do a test in Windows Sandbox without Open-shell and see if the issue appear while in there: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416396827/Testing+WindowBlinds+in+Sandbox

I tried to disable open-shell from starting -up, but it still did
So I un-installed open-shell, the problem was still there
I changed the Blind & its background, so the fogginess is not so prominate

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just as a test does the issue goes away if you try different Windowblinds skin? Such as Diamond or Arsenic which come with Windowblinds.
