new DesktopX > Aaah! need help please!

I never really played around with DesktopX V1 that much. V2 looks scary, can anyone help me figure out how to put what I want on my screen?? I cant seem to get the items it came with to go away. Also, once I download something, how do I go about using it?? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and when you download an object just double click it and it will appear

Right click on DTX in system tray and choose "Import Objects" scroll and add what you want.
