DirectX and Theme Manager are not working For Me !!!

DirectX and Theme Manager are not working For Me !!!
Here are my problems,
1) For some reason when I reboot, DirectX and cursorX do not run.
2)If I install a new theme when I apply the theme DirectX does turn on.
3) If I turn on DirectX manually which I do not want to do everytime. I do not see the DirectX components of the Theme I just downloaded.
4) I have the fish swimming around from the aquarium, the Clock from iGlassX2 and nothing from OrangeGrafSuite1 which I just downloaded.
If I download and apply a suite I want all the old directX components to die and the new was starting, and when I start my computer I want to still see the same theme with directX and the cursor skinning program running.
Am I asking for to much ?
How do I fix it ?
Can I at least find a way to kill the fish ?
Confused about CursorX the basic version is free will I continue to get the prompt to upgrade to the Plus verision ?
The Login Studio is it a Object desktop component ?

ok, first I'm assuming you are talking about DesktopX and not DirectX which is a 3D programming API developed by Microsoft.
1) Right-click on the DX system tray icon and select Configure DesktopX, Select the DesktopX tab on the dialog that is displayed and make sure "Run DX on startup" is checked. This should solve the DX not running when you reboot problem.
2) I'm not sure if this is a problem, but I would think this is the behavior you would want
3) When you launch DX it may be loading the default theme, if you want it to use the same theme every time you reboot, right-click on the DX system tray icon and select "Load Theme". Once you've loaded the theme right-click the system tray icon again and select re-start DX (just to make sure it loads the correct theme).
4) To get rid of objects you don't want right-click on the object and select "Delete Object", if you are asked whether you want to delete related objects click 'Yes'. You should be able to do this for all of the objects you don't want. When you say it's not showing the objects for the theme you just installed, have you installed the theme yet? Just downloading it won't install it. You have to find the downloaded file and double-click it to install it and them you may need to Load it as I explained above.
I believe this is what will happen, but as I said just downloading the theme will NOT install it. You have to double-click on the downloaded file to install it. I believe it will auto-load when you install it, if not just follow the above directions to load it.
I have CursorXP Pro and have for ages so I'm not sure whether the free version has reminders but if it does I'm pretty sure you'll continue to get them until you upgrade.
No, LogonStudio is a free program. If it's asking you to register you might want to send a message to Stardock tech support and find out if there is a fix for this.

It sounds like you actually do have DesktopX running if you are seeing the fish, and perhaps the icon is not showing in system tray.
Have you tried killing DX thru task manager? (ctrl/alt/del-programs tab, highlight DX,-hit end program)

I believe so....
It sounds like you actually do have DesktopX running if you are seeing the fish, and perhaps the icon is not showing in system tray.
Have you tried killing DX thru task manager? (ctrl/alt/del-programs tab, highlight DX,-hit end program)

2 desktopX was not loading automatically.
I should not post anything without at least two coffees.
To find a component click on it to use it after I download it does not seem to make sense to me. The name of the program is "Theme Manager" should I not automatically turn on the required components and disable the old stuff ?
Is the extra cash for cursorX pro worth the investment ?

Are you talking about a theme that you downloaded as an exe? Or are you simply referring to a theme downloaded from the DesktopX themes section of WC? I think I may have misunderstood you..
Personally, I think CursorXP is worth the money.. There haven't been any updates to it in ages that I know of but I also never have any problems with it and I'm not sure what else they would add to it.. Maybe you should hold off until you find which applications you really want to use. If there are enough of them, you might as well just buy ObjectDesktop.. I know $50 seems like a lot of money, but when you start buying apps for $30 here and $10 there you'd surpass $50 in no time flat.

I bought CursorXP pro because there was something it did which I wanted and the shareware version didn't - but I forget what it was now! 
I've actually stopped using it for a while though as I'd started using ObjectDock and WindowFX and the alpha blending for CursorXP threw my video drivers into hyper slow motion when the cursor overlayed another alpha blended region. That said, I've stopped using ObjectDock and WindowFX at the moment so I could enjoy my nice cursors again now!
So, er...yes, it's worth it, if the Pro version includes a particular feature you want.

Ah, good point.. I have OD too and completely forgot that CX is listed on the Misc tab all by it's lonesome.. Guess I need more coffee too.

Different themes are built different ways. If the author doesn't consider that you already have a DesktopX theme running, then they won't necessarily set it to unload it. If the themes have the same components used (say, IconPackager, DesktopX, Wallpaper and WindowBlinds) then all will change to the new theme. If they don't have a DesktopX theme in the new theme, then it won't necessarily do anything to your currently running DesktopX theme.
CursorXP Pro has many more features than the free version (like color, transparency and size settings).
