Since a few days (weeks ?) i find that wincustomize.com is very very slow to load pages. Is it just me or is there again a server trouble ??

go edit account https://www.wincustomize.com/editaccount.asp and about 3/4ths of the way down the table, it says:::
Web Viewing Preferences:
Popup windows: Yes No
Optimize Performance for: Speed Display
Icons: Visible Hidden
select speed and you should be ok.

you can also hide the icons and it loads alot faster.

...most pages load in less than 2 seconds for me, and I've not noticed any long delays - except when a page contains a lot of previews, say when looking at the entire page of skins for someone like Pixtudio (which took just under 20 seconds to load and about 40 seconds to finish loading all the graphics). I don't think the site is the problem here...

#1 is probably on the right way : changed to the default skin for the site and it's a little better (but still slower than days before ...)
