If you have SkinStudio you can do it yourself for your own use. I think there's a sticky thread here providing instructions.

Yes thank you ..Am well aware of that ...however if I could do it myself perfectly I would have never posted this ....it is because of the fact that I really have no skinning skills what so ever that I posted this in hopes that someone with great skills would port one or all of the skins

It really is easy with SkinStudio:-

Run Skinstudio
File Menu - Open - Visual Styles - Select Skin

Wait until it is all loaded and converted
File Menu - Save As

Erm, not too difficult

Of course, if someone else does the port for you and then they can't get permission from the Authors to distribute it you'll be no better off than you are now. It's not just a matter of someone doing this, they would also need the original authors permission to give it to you. So, you see the problem with having someone just do it for you? I've been looking for a reason to play with SkinStudio so I may give it a whirl but I wouldn't hold your breath as I rarely feel like messing around on my computer once I get home from work.. However, if I get it done and it looks as good as the MSStyle and the author approves of the port and of me distributing it then I'll post it.

Good Luck!

Frogboy has ported the only decent VS in my opinion, TallyHawk.
The rest are pretty average.

SkinStudio is a program I can't do without but this feature for converting MSStyles has turned skinning into a joke. Why bother spending 60 hrs creating a WB skin when you can spend 10 mins importing a MSStyle? Zero skills but the same end credit when uploaded - farcical

Maybe some people enjoy using WB skins that have been ported due to the fact they dislike Style XP?

Very few of the Style XP skins have been imaginative or innovative kona .... 99% retain that 'Leggo' style.
But if some people like them then I guess that's OK.

Well I'd have to say your right in a way ...but alot of the same few imaginative or innovative skins from Style XP have been ported over to WindowBlinds ...and very few of the great ones have been ported or updated (take the Chaninja's skins ....they are great hands down!)

This is more of a request thread, Give it to me now damnit and everyone will just drop and do it for you then mail them once completed yes

You do realize there are sticky's and many stuff going about internet how to skin and so on, surely it isn't that hard for you to spend several hours finding information on skinning? is it that hard to read Tutorials or FAQ's here or several other places?

Yes and no, but say you just happened to see a really nice msstyle created and wanted to run it on WB (for personal use) it'll be fun and games breaking out reghacker or whatever the utilities are to get the bitmaps out.

I guess it's always the same when the pulic gets a new toy lets go wild with it! Lets milk it till everbody gets sick of it.

The converter is a handy feature no complaints about that, but people will overuse it don't matter what it is.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when GUI Olympics starts up, you can bet people will fire ports in
