It's actually a way to push the thread to the top of the list, so others can see it and maybe help

The only way I know of is if you have an ObjectDesktop subscription, you can set Stardock Central to prompt for an installation directory on the initial download of the program. Other than that, I don't think you can move the directory after WindowBlinds has been installed.

I spend a fair amount of time reading the newsgroups at Stardock, and unfortunately, I can tell you from reading them that this feature is still not available in Windowblinds. There are many requests for this feature, but so far, Windowblinds is still only able to use skins that are in the Windowblinds directory.

I really, really hope that this feature will be added soon.

You can change the Default Directory in Iconpackager, at the moment I dont think you can with WB, I have brought up the Idea of a My Skins folder, A Central folder for storage of all your skins, at least for stardock apps. Perferably the location of the folder would be customizeable. looks like we might be able to impliment it. However there is no eta on it since we just finished a major release.

yes a my skins folder that can be set on a seperate Hdd would be great. that way it would be that much easyer backing up my goodies. as it is i have to copy all new stuff from C: to F: which can get redundant.
