Same here, I'm running W2KPro and Capsula 2nd Edition skin and it skinned my task bar just fine and dandy. but you're right that it doesn't skin the MENU.

Hey, I don't want to come off seeming rude. No way. If you've discovered something about Windowblinds under 2K that I havn't seen then I want to know all about it. Is it possible for you to post or send me a screenshot? My email is ddeeperatyahoo.com.au (replace the "at" with @). I'd really love to see what you've got. Also what version of WB are you using?

In the older WB skins there are a couple background tiles that don't get used in the newer version. One of these gets used to skin the taskbar in Win98 & 2k. It's just a backgrond tile though, no handles or other stuff. The buttons are also different than the XP ones, it will use the regular buttons, not special taskbar buttons.
All the XP enhancements, Start Menu, Taskbar, Shell styles, etc. are only gonna show up if you're running XP. It's a tribute to WindowBlinds that it has always made such a huge difference in the appearance of your GUI, no matter what version of Windows you're running.

Nothing supports taskbar skinning for Windows 2k. You have to use Object Bar for that. Sorry if I was confusing.
Some older skins have a background tile that gets applied to the taskbar in Win2k. It is NOT taskbar skinning. It's just a bitmap that could even be a solid color. And most new skins wouldn't even have that file included.

some of the skins dont offer a start bar section so it wont get skind.
im looking at my win 2000 start bar and its either skinned or bill gates snuk in to my house and rebuilt it while i was sleeping ......
