HOw you put many images on the desktop screen and can resize them?

Hi guys, any of you know how to put images on the desktop screen but you can resize the image once you highlighted it? my friend put whole punches of images on my desktop , and i can resize any of them however iw ant, how you do that? thx.

ps. my friend did it without using any program like desktop x, etc. It's something from the desktop i think.

You can do that with active desktop.

Right Click on the desktop click properties.
Click the Desktop tab.
Click Customize Desktop button at the bottom.
Click the Web tab at the top of the desktop items dialog.

Here you can change the content, use local files, or internet pages/content.

I use it in one of my clients offices. They have a timecard application on the intranet, and have it loaded on the desktops.

if u see an image u want to use right clik on it in the menu there will be "set as dektop item" u use that to set stuff like active web content on your desktop. u can also resize them ...this is more than likely what your friend did ..
