What format are your drives in? I.e. fat 32, exfat, ntfs

Is the portable SSD showing up on the laptop, but it’s empty, or is it not showing at all?

Phoenix   I DON'T KNOW

Pelaird It shows only THAT folder is empty  the 2 or 3 JPGs are showing just fine just NOT the folder ... Now that I notice that I guess I don't have to fill a folder

Strange that it doesn't show up the same on the desktop PC and the laptop. Is the laptop a Mac or a PC?

What you could try is to reformat the drive to a different format

To do this; right click on the ssd drive under "my pc" and select the "format"

Under File system you should have several format options

My favorite is exFAT, but I believe all your devices need to at least be running Windows 10 or higher. (If you are running modern windows and mac this is the best option)

If you have older devices you may be best off on FAT32 (the most compatible drive) or maybe NTFS (the better option if all your devices are compatible)
