What Now? Rainmeter Issue
Wednesday, May 15, 2024 by 3java3 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Weather on Rainmeter Issue. My NovaweatherAPI And VClouds weather widgets on Rainmeter are no longer working like they were yesterday or this morning. It seems like these weather parts of rainmeter have issues because somebody can't resist changing the standard that everyone follows, which breaks the weather on all the widgets. They used one standard, and then that changed, and that is why most of my weather on Rainmeter won't work, except for the two already mentioned. Did they change the protocol yet again? And I believe that I am using the correct lattitude and longitude on the two that were previously working. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!

Yeah i noticed my weather widgets no longer work as well. The api keys might have been changed.
Changing the API key (in variables.inc) to "APIKey=71f92ea9dd2f4790b92ea9dd2f779061" (without the ") should fix the issue.
The variables.inc is located in the skin folder: C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\skinname\@Resources

This one did the trick. I just downloaded an updated one of the skin I was using. I lost where i had gotten it in the past. Thanks.

Thanks Jan for the tip. Got Novaweather working now, whew! And, I downloaded a newer, updated version of VClouds, so I am good to go! Yay!
