Web page ideas and help
Wednesday, January 21, 2004 by kona0197 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I need 3 things from all of my friends here. Since I have Bicycles on the brain all the time I might as well have a web page devoted to them. not a chessy web page but a professional one with reviews on bikes, produst reviews, forums, ect.
I need help coming up with a good catchy name.
I need help finding a cheap place to register my domain name.
And if anyone has the time and patience, I need help with the web page graphics as i do not know web page coding.
Thank you to all who help out.

See that site? Like the design? Its mine and it will soon be replaced by something (terribly ugly
) new design the guy made himself. He is still paying me for coding it and he is paying the old webpage anyway but I probably can give it away. So if you are intrested I will ask it if I can give it away and you can use it. (and yes, for free

or www.kba.us (kona bikes anonymous)
or www.nohands.us
I'll help you with the web design too if you want it. I don't have a webpage per se, but I do know how to make them.

Kona, I'm not sure why you can not open the link but I will send it to you in IM and see if you can get to it through that. You really do need to get a look at it, I think you will be pleasantly surprised and pleased

Travis's offer is something I would take him up on also if his time permits when it all comes together, more good spirit which reminds me why I really do like this site and the people here.

i started with a dictionary, on bicycle. i got words like "push bike" and "tandem" that sound cool. "pedal" or "chain driven" are nice words that can be put to some cool graphics. "Transport".. "Cycle".. "Cycladic" is cool except it has nothing to do with bikes. "Wide Fat Tires". "Black Rubber Teeth". "Secure The Mountain". "Mounted Trailblazer."
graphic wise, ghost images (semi-trans) of bicycle wheel spokes or a foot on a pedel are nice ideas.. colors - bright, warm.. full saturated red and black and white, or blue and white and black.. or 'ikea' orange and white. nothing dulled out.
i hope that helps get 'yer gears turning.
