What do you feed your computer?

Tuesday, January 20, 2004 by uM0p apsdn | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm sure you have heard of "horror stories" of what people find in their computers. Dust bunnies, potato chips, dead/living insects, money, etc.

I'm sure at one time or anyother, everyone has eaten/drank while using their computer. So, what do you feed your computer? ...what do you eat in front of you computer that may potentially end up inside the keyboard/case?

Seeds and ashes mostly.....

Those removable drive caddy's do make an excellent hiding place (as long as you don't put a drive in them ).

money..

oh and yes Dog hair, dust, the occasional soda has been offered up by my daughter and my son gave one a large 8 inch x 1.375 inch Speaker Magnet out of a Inter-Audio Stack once which I did not see for a couple of hours while wondering why my system was acting so badly..

oh, and my keyboard liked the occasional milk my daughter would share with it when she was a rug rat and being burped or just passed to me when sitting in front of it...

I would have to say a little of everything. I live in front of my computer. I eat all meals here, watch TV, do HW, etc.

Not only is smoking bad for your health, but for your computer as well. truth

That's a big truth. I once fixed heavy smoker's computer. I told him it's basically destroyed, with sticky film everywhere inside.

Cheese of course, It's run by mouse ya know!
