moment is "Lord of the Rings"...

Yes the third part was awsome though it got a little bit boring to the end,and i did not quite understand the end of the story.Where did mrFronto and the other quys go/SAILING...WHERE???
Anyway the trilogy was really good...Aragon is my favourite...

There's this thing called a 'book', or even 3 books....you could read it/them and learn....

ah movie chit chat, me likes...

helen I think (1) book is more than enough to read but (3) forget it! hehe

anyways, part three was the best of Lord of the rings, never got to see Blade cuz my two boys but I'll have to grab the vid someday, and underworld was kinda a dissapointment the cover of the DVD was better than the flick, and I think the best I seen so far was "League of extrodinary gentlemen" that one has a killer vampire chick in it helen... check that one out!

called a 'book',

Though i love reading dear jafo=in fact it is one of my favourite pasttimes= i wouldn't spend so much time and energy in 'Lord of the Rings'.There are so many other books healthier to read...

As I recall there were at one time only three 'authors' who had a University Degree course devoted to them in the US....[whoever wrote] the Bible, Shakespeare, and Tolkien.....which kinda puts LOTR into the 'significant' book category.

But from the tone of these threads it's perhaps Mills and Boon that's more your fave.....

helen no the vampire in that movie was a female but she was the true epitome of what a hard cold vampire girl should be... hehe

the vampire girl in underworld was pretty but weak at the same time, check out "League of extrodinary gentlemen" not only the female vampire was on the spot but all the characters were reallyyyyy good!

Mills and Boon is a 'penny dreadful' publisher of teenage girl-oriented romance novels....and certain sentiments in these threads feel like they've been taken straight out of one of them...

Tolkien....degree or not....Fantasy is not everyone's cup of tea. I have read the Trilogy. I enjoyed it, but at times found myself just wanting to put the books down and walk away, more so with the Two Towers than the other two. The only other Fantasy series I have ever read are Stephen Donaldson's Thomas Covenant Chronicles. Other authors I have read Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Charles Bukowski. Pop culture (except maybe Bukowski), but reading should be a relaxing form of entertainment

Helenangel....Off to look for them ghosties Stick around, I think Jafo is being light-hearted and maybe it didn't translate well.

Essencay - for good fantasy read Robert Jordan or Terry Brooks.

Καλό απόγευμα Helenangel....we are having a bit of snow here today, just enough to make the roads slick. It's about 24F/-4C today....much warmer
I'm pretty much over my cold and I'm hanging out watching Bram Stoker's Dracula....next up Sleepy Hollow

I'm getting much better at finding Greek characters on the keyboard and can 'mimmick' typing Greek words, I have a long way to go until I understand them I know a couple though: ωαι όχι μπύρα χαφές I have some brewing right now...must go get some...εισαι πολυ καλος φιλος

Talk to you soon Angel
