Internet Explorer taskbar not skinning

Tuesday, January 13, 2004 by jar1979 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

My Internet Explorer Taskbar is not skinning.
Regardless of the skin I choose, all I get is a grey background where the back, forward, stop, etc. buttons are.

When I first apply a skin it will work but the very next time I open Internet Explorer it reverts back to a drab grey.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks

Before anyone can help, you'll need to provide more info.......... start with

What OS are you running?
What version of WindowBlinds?
Are you running WebBlinds?

Thanks for the help in getting my question answered! I'm running XP, the newest version of WindowBlinds and I'm not using WebBlinds (Although I tried using WebBlinds and still had the same problem)

the newest version of WindowBlinds

Is that the newest released version or the newest beta release on the ObjectDesktop network?
The latest beta is buggy, and may be the source of your problem.

Thanks for the clarification-It's the newest beta that I downloaded from Stardock Central. You know, I just tried using Style XP and the same thing happened. So does this mean anything?

Newer beta was just released for OD subscribers................. I don't know if it will fix your problem, but it's worth a shot.

4.20b[b] works ok for me. The only thing that doesn't work is the history link...

History link hasn't worked since the last update of SDC .... but I've learned that if you copy the shortcut, and remove the 'app_click' at the end, you can view it in your browser.

Thanks to you Koasati for trying to help me with my problem. I think I figured out what was wrong. I uninstalled the WebBlinds and everything has worked fine since.
