Microsoft seems to be signaling that it will now be released as Windows 11 24h2 rather then Windows 12.

Agree with you. Seems to be the drift of what I've been reading, as well.
While AR 4789 calls it W12, a rose by any other name...
The UI is slick. Hoping it looks like that with W10 taskbar/dock functionality.

The only thing that is for sure is that we will in fact get the Hudson Valley update this year and that it will be AI focused.
However, the closer we get towards its release the more Microsoft seems to be signaling that it will now be released as Windows 11 24h2 rather then Windows 12. There seems to be a real fear inside Microsft with the idea of fragmenting users even more between Windows 10 / 11 / and 12. It seems like they would rather focus on getting more people on one OS which will be Windows 11.
