WMP: Full mode skins

I know the newer version of WMP allow you to change the hue of the player itself in full mode, but that is the extent of changing full modes' ability to change its appearance. I wonder; is it impossible to change the way WMP looks in full mode? And if not, why haven't people tackled that challenge yet?

Although I find myself using AndreasV's Av3 Player more so than WMP, but since I love skins for every occasion, why not this one eh?

You need to buy the WMP Digital Media Edition for "Party Mode" skins. The Skins Factory made a few of them for the pack...they are very cool. Here is link I found from TSF's homepage.

hmm, not exacly what I had in mind, but impressive nontheless! I was hoping for a more immediate approach, one that didn't require extra programs and such. I would love to see WMP 9 Series not only be skinnable when you switch to skin mode, but also in full mode. (I hope that makes sense to people!)

It does make sense but you can't do it. The interface is hard-coded for fullmode.

You could hack into the code. Create a proggie to work with the hacked code. Create support for skin format that another company developed and uses. Hope that MS doesn't change the code on you. And file a worthless lawsuit against that other company just before the whole 'House of Cards' you built begins to collapse

Well then they should definately considering changing the code around to make it more easier for you creative types
