Intro and accolades for WC and Stardock

Friday, January 9, 2004 by bluesman219 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Last April I bought my first 'puter. Having a friend working in Japan we started chatting on mIRC. He sent me to Richard Thompsons site. There while nosing around I went to a link and when I moved my cursor into the window a cursor trail! I was hooked and started looking for where I could find this. Enter Wincustomize. I have been here daily since. I truly enjoy everything.
Problem is, being an old fart,(52) I have always done best learning by doing, but I have found out I can't do this here. It becomes a little overwhelming at times.
I want to learn how these objects etc. work, and how to use scripts. Eventually I do want to try to skin.
So, what I would like is if I could get comments on where to start, any info is welcome.

Bluesman: There are tutorials for most of the Stardock programs over at their site, take a look around for links to help on the individual applications. https://www.stardock.com

Thanks BoXXi I will and I have done some googling, but sometimes terminology gets me. Like another language.
Also last time I went to Stardock tutorials I got a "could not display" window.
