hard drive icons

Sunday, January 4, 2004 by terry595 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Any ideas............When applying icon packages, no matter which one, the only ones that are not applied are the hard drive icons. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanx
Terry

and if that wont work you can right click on the hard drive and manually change the icon. go into the properties and the icon tab should be on the far right

Sorry, I really should read what i write before i submit it, i had meant to say DVD / CDR drives.

'Drives' is ticked in IconPackager2 and there doesnt appear to be an icon tab in the drive properties.

Any other ideas, its just that it ruins any Icon Package or Windows theme that i select.

Thanx
Terry

And why in the world does my iconpackager look like this. All of my stardock products dialogues are looking kind of off in the same way. Please help me.

reinstalling what windows? It happens even when windowblinds isn't running. I guess I could try to reinstall all of my stardock products and see if that helps. It started happening when I updated something all while back, and now its finally starting to bug me.

I meant reinstalling Icon Packager, but reinstalling all Stardock programs would be as far as I would go.

ok open icon packager. go icons and cursors,in corner clik the individual drive mode button
select the drives u want icons changed ( u may have to use the change button and manually change the icon for each drive)
then hit apply .
it will then change the drives icons .....
