Quck Start Menu Question

Monday, December 29, 2003 by Nooblix | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Does anyone know how to add a little "slide out" menu above "All Programs" that I could put, say, games in. Here's a picture (yes, I know about the crappy quality, I didn't feel like opening PS):

So right above All Programs I would see Games. Is it possible?

To my knowledge, nope...
MS made the left panel untouchable so to speak. I remember reading about this somewhere.
The reasoning was to kill the ability to have various software bloat your panels with rubbish like so many of them tend to do.

I don't think it is possible with the windows start bar, but you could do that with Objectbar, I think.

You can create a toolbar on the taskbar w/Show Title and No Text. Then make it the width of the title and it will be a slide out menu
