Your thoughts on a good choice and why?
I guess after that we can flame cell phones!

Sad that pets appear to take second place to such things as laptops.
I'd get rid of children before a pet....

It's unfortunate that pets are "disposable" in the USA. 4 of the 5 dogs that have been part of my family over the last 22 years were from the SPCA. The one that isn't, evil Bogart, was a gift from a breeder friend.

Kona, I don't know if ATT Wireless is an option in your neck of the woods, but you should check them out. They give much deeper rebates on their phones. More phone for less money

They are a option in my neck of the woods along with Sprint, T-Moblie and Verizon and Qwest.
But they want a $1000 dollar deposit for service. My credit sucks.
but i can go with this, and it is a color phone.

We will only keep chance (my german shepard) because my wife will not be seperated from her dog. The snakes would never survive without thier heat and the cat is a freak on a leash (not to metion I am not sleeping next to a litter box) and as for the other dog she was abused and needs a good home, not a car.

| As for the pets, I REALLY do NOT want to get rid of them |
I know you don't. I was just commenting in reference to Jafo's views about keeping pets over kids, which are very different than most of the USA.

my only option are a prepaid service or through qwest since they are my DSL and phone provider. (they lowed my DSL 10 bucks today! yes!)
I have a tracfone but it is so expensive to run. Think I will sell it on ebay.
