Does anybody like cars here?

My personal dream cars are:
Chrysler 300M (or the Concorde)
I might actually get that ^^^ one in a few years.
Other dream cars include:
Volvo XC90
Nissan Z
Cadilac Escalade (SUT pick-up)
Infinity FX45
Aston Martin DB8 (or the Vanquish)
I am also thinking about getting some toy cars. One of them is this one:

What do you want...????

If it was up to me I would ban all forign cars. Then nuke a few forign car factoies just for the hell of it.
Ah well...so much for the international economy, competition, the value of the American Dollar, etc. Guess all the stuff that we export to other countries can sit on our docks and rot

Car that that I aspire to buy some time soon is the R34 Nissan Skyline GTR.
Also love the pre-95 UK 200sx (240 in US, 180 in Australiasia).
Wouldn't mind a TVR Cerbera as well. One of the few examples of modern British engineering that doesn't totally blow.

1955 Chevy Belair Convertible
Plymouth Hemi Barracuda, any year (68-69 is best, convertible better
)1970 LS6 Chevelle
Nissan 240 or 260Z
64 Pontiac GTO
Porsche Carrera or 911
BMW Z4 3.0
Nissan 350Z Convertible.
Honda S2000
67 GT350 Mustang
Kona,
As for imports, a few things,
1. If it wasn't for the imports, the domestic manufacturers would probably still be producing crap cars like they did in the 70's, or at the very least, it would have taken them much longer to get their ducks in a row.
2. I drive sports cars, not SUV's or luxury land yachts. The only two American sports cars of any consequence are the Viper and the Corvette, and both are too expensive for what you get. Any one of the modern imports I listed above will outperform (in overall performing and handling and mileage and maintenance) either of those American sports cars hands down.
3. I'm a big guy (6'4", 250lbs, not fat), and amusingly enough, I can fit better in most imports that I've driven than I can in most of the 'sporty' American cars (I leave the land yachts and SUV's aside for this point).
4. Competition is GOOD. Period. It keeps the bar raised for everyone, and customer has a choice and usually comes out ahead.

McLAren F1
or FORD's prototype: GT90 - 720 or so HP. 0-60 in under 3 seconds.
- Has the same tiles NASA uses for under the fuselage of their shuttles for re-entry. [because of heat on take off/re-entry]
- Utilises same shoulder harnesses the shuttle does; take-off speeds of course

or the Ferrari F-50.

#14 by Kona0197 - 12/26/2003 3:15:32 PM By the way, Chrysler and Dodge are the same thing... along with Mercedes-Benz.I KNOW THAT!

As long as you know its American.
#22 by Kona0197 - 12/26/2003 3:54:18 PM I own a 2003 Ford F-150 yuck! get a dodge RAM.
OK, I have to agree with that one. Only because of exterier looks and overall packaging.
Now if only they made the durango look like that then I'll replace the Volvo XC 90 with a Dodge Durango.... maybe.

I like the mileage on it too.
Pretty good but it is most likely so because of the small size of the car.Hippy, the Nissan Skyline is one of the coolest cars. Smoooooooth.
