There was an error inporting the skin file. possible causes are a corrupt skin file, or a read-only skin directory

I have replaced the download at http://storage.stardock.com/files/bootskin10_rc0.exe with a changed installer that may help with that.
Please reinstall it and let us know how it goes. If you continue to experience problems importing, email [email protected] and I'll send you a private debug build over the weekend.

rick click on the icon saved to disk
shoose open with
browse for winzip/winrar/ any zip program (not the one with windows)
if you don't have one you can find one here: http://www.download.com
extract the files to c:/program files/stardock/wincustomize/bootskin/name of bootksin/
