wallpaper catagories?

Thursday, December 18, 2003 by f0rTyLeGz | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Does it make sense that wallpapers like these http://skins2.wincustomize.com/ShockerTeam3D%AE/wallpapers/tTheendofthegreencollapse.jpg
http://skins2.wincustomize.com/PixelCargo/wallpapers/tprophetxp_preview.jpg
http://skins2.wincustomize.com/telu1/wallpapers/ttid4_1024.jpg
http://skins2.wincustomize.com/darazs/wallpapers/tSignum.jpg
are posted a "scenery?" Wouldn't "fantasy" and "landscapes" separate these way different styles?

Thanks...

I totally agree. They fall more under the category of abstract or 3D but since those 2 options are not on the drop menu I think they should be placed under "General" but then again thats up to the author to choose the category before uploading.

I think they are under "scenery" because that is the default section selected when you upload a wallpaper. Sometimes people forget to change the catagory, which i have done myself once.

It seems that the screening of wallpaper submissions is very carefully done. Surely one of their duties could be to place the wallpaper into a sensible category.
