If I buy a subscription,

what must I buy to be able to use the (for example) GT2 Suite? Do I need several $10-20.00 programs [like iconpackager, Objectbar, windowblinds, etc. etc]?? - or - Do I just need a program such as Suite[?] to use as a manager and it includes these programs [or registration paid for them]?
Please help...I am really intrested in buying a subscription, but this is kinda' confusing to me.
Also - some freeware skins I've downloaded seem to include the avi images for animating d/l progress or recycling bin - but they don't work? Is this a registered feature only, and if so, registered of what!
I think it would be really helpful if there was a spreadsheet with maybe all of these different programs - like:
BootSkins
CoolPlayer
CursorXP
Dashboard
DesktopX Objects
DesktopX Themes
IconPackager
LiteStep
Logons
NextStart
ObjectBar
ObjectDock
Suites
SysMetrix
WallPapers
Widgets for SkinStudio
WinAmp
WindowBlinds
WindowFX
WinMedia
Then maybe across the top or bottom have maybe "icons" or wall paper" or other feature
Then have checkmarks or shaded areas showing what is included in what. While I do realize of course that "iconpackager" probably includes icons and not a bootskin, some of the larger more 'inclusive'? programs, I'm not too sure about.

What sig101 said. If you look at the top center of each library you will see what you need to have in order to use the skin.

You can read about the apps required for the skins/works in the various libraries. For example, read about Nextstart via the links to info about Nextstart in the Nextstart library and so forth. Some of the apps for which there are skins here are Stardock apps, some are not.
An Object Desktop subscription is for the Stardock apps such as WindowBlinds, IconPackager, ObjectBar, DesktopX, etc. You can read about it looking at the Information, FAQ, Features links on this page:
