American Soldier in need of christmas spirit

Friday, December 12, 2003 by The Rated PG | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hello all. I am now skinning computers here in Afghanistan. Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us in Operation Enduring Freedom. Just thought I'd drop a line for those who know me. By the way did UZZEE say he lived here? I'll find him! Maybe he's with OSAMA. Seriously can I use my object desktop on two computers? One at home where I am obvoiusly not, and one here downrange? Mormegil's theme sure would spruce up the place around here. Nothing but brown and tan here

I do believe you're not only allowed, but encouraged to use your Stardock products at home, and at work....... and you are at work aren't you?    Merry Christmas, and Thank you!

Ah, finally found it. I was looking for this answer myself.

https://www.stardock.com/support/support.asp?product=prod5#53

Can I install my copy on more than one machine?

Yes, to a point. Only one copy of the product can be used at once per license. But if you want to have it on both home and work or install it on the road that is not only allowed but recommended. As long as only one copy is actively in use (someone sitting at the computer) at any one time, and you are the primary user of each computer, you are covered.

Zach, by that I'm guessing your e-mail address doesn't matter and if one is logged in, the other can't and vice-versa. If you're just going to use it over there, then insert new e-mail addy and you should be good to go.

Wow I knew I had a few friends, but this is cool. Actually use prayers for my wife as our son will not be home for Christmas with her either. He has gone to relatives due to her work schedule and my deployment. everything is fairly safe where I am now, but in the next couple of days I will be going "downrange" or going "into harm's way" for a little while. http://www.geocities.com/jhreid2/

it's just that I'm a little confused as to to what is "too political" for this board. I've seen entries that's been removed for being "too political" before. If this isn't political, I don't know what is... Could someone clarify the boundaries, please?

It is not 'too political' to give support to a friend.
