Poxy Proxy - How can I get updates ?

Wednesday, December 10, 2003 by GodsGift | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Been happily updating stardocks object desktops for two years and the company installs a poxy > proxy/firewall > so now my installs/updates fail with file block size problems.

Just downloaded mormegils suuuuuuuuuuuuuperb christmas time theme - love it !!!

on the start bar the user pane is screwed and I'm assuming this is down my wb not being the latest.

Anyone know how I can get the latest versions either outside of stardock central, i.e. downloadable or on CD !!!

Cheers.

If you are using StardockCentral, go into Tools>Settings>Connection, there are fields there for 'Address' 'Port' 'Username' and 'Password'.

If your Company is using a proxy the settings should be in IE under Tools>Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings and typically will be Address 'server address' Port '80'. Put the same in SDC along with you network logon username and password.

All assuming you have your Network Administrator's permission of course
