Yet another beta release has just come out RC10. Cannot be long for the final version.
Winamp 5 (2+3) is gone into its final beta stages. Change Log
Winamp 5.0 rc10:
modern skin updates
fixed coming back from windowshade closes video drawer
fixed user settings path assert
added 6 color themes (coagulated, peachy, bricks set, rosemary, blueberry and cream, qwayke)
added media library plugins configuration, support for type column
latest VP5 decoder, VP6 decoder
disabled hotkeys when hotkeys configuration is focused
AVS: support getkbmouse() from script. woot.
AVS: support new text features, including $(title), $(reg00), $(playpos), $(playlen)
AVS: added (optional) eval code for effect lists
AVS: experimental SMP support
AVS: fixed a alpha clamping bug in dmove
AVS: eval code stats in debug window
AVS: memory footprint reduction (framebuffer freeing)
AVS: eval code optimizations, much smaller and faster code (woot)

yeah, but I still have to put all the mp3s back on the new one. Thus, the month i mentioned...

yeah, i agree with ChasUGC, that would be alotta music to lose.

yeah, too bad you didnt back it up on a HD in the first place...
thats what i do, i have a 100 gig HD sittin around, labeled "BACKUP" i do backup once a week so i dont lose any important info. well, i dunno man, good luck with your restoring, thats all i can say. oh, and make sure none of your cds get scratched, cuz then you waste a month and a buncha cds. Happy Restoring

yeah, too bad you didnt back it up on a HD in the first place...

or, a more expensive, but more surefire way, get an ipod or some other mass storage mp3player.
